Bought as a present and recipient very pleased. Read the few pages shown online, and there were lots of memories that took both me and hubby back to our late 1940’s - 1950’s childhood. Lots of nostalgia to talk about. Very pleased with purchase.

I bought this book as a gift for my dad who was born in 1948. He isn't a big reader but he is starting to have memory issues so I thought he might enjoy it. He instantly engaged with it flicking through the pictures and telling us stories as his memories were triggered by the contents of the book and he has just messaged me to say he can't put it down. I haven't read it myself so I can't give a full review but the joy that it has given my dad makes it 5 stars.
