The Automated Dad
The Wrong Sister hooks you from the very first page and doesn’t let go until the final, jaw-dropping twist. It’s the kind of psychological thriller that has you questioning everything and everyone, as the story unfolds with layers of deceit, dark family secrets, and unexpected betrayals. The narrative revolves around two sisters, one seemingly perfect and the other a bit of a mystery — but as the plot thickens, you start to wonder who’s really hiding the truth. The pacing is spot-on, with cliffhangers that make it impossible to put down (cancel your plans, you’re finishing this one tonight). The characters are complex and well-drawn, making it hard to decide who to root for — or who to trust. It’s a gripping read that’s full of suspense, red herrings, and twists you won’t see coming. If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers with unreliable narrators and plenty of family drama, The Wrong Sister is a must-read. Just be prepared for a late night — once you start, it’s hard to escape this dark and tangled web!

I really enjoyed this book and once more Claire delivered another novel with twists and turns. I enjoy her writing style. Her characters are believable. I'm starting her other novel now - the couple at number 9.

A really good easy read, good story, a little slow in places but still kept me reading, a good but guessable twist

I really did enjoy reading this book. It kept my interest from start to finish. Once finished I did look back and think "What was the relevance of that part?" For example who was following Tasha and Aaron in Venice and why? Who sent Tasha the nasty note? Who killed a certain person in the pond and why? It also seemed very far fetched as to the motive for killing Kyle. Having said that, I did still enjoy the story and the pace and detail of the plot.

I have no words. I LOVED THIS. This book was Insane in the best possible way. It had twists and turns and just when you think you know where the story is going, there’s more plot twists. You have so many questions throughout the whole book and you always wonder what on earth will happen next, because it’s that chaotic and full of mystery and suspense. I’d 100% recommend to anyone this was unreal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was brilliant. Took me two days to read, couldn't put it down. The characters were really strong, they faced some decisions I wouldn't like to make. Plenty of twists, lots of thinking you know what happened only to find you don't. No spoilers or plot descriptions, if you like books that grip you from the start this is for you.

The BEST book to have started the New Year off with!! I felt like I was watching a British crime series on Netflix, in my head. This book is so well detailed and it truly brought everything to life. I don’t usually love different POVs but this book really changed my mind!!

Another good book from Claire Douglas although it did drag a bit in some places. It did arrive very quickly from the International sight. I guess its not published yet in the U.S. I have read all of Claire Douglas's books and am looking forward to the next one. Her English dialogue takes some getting used to.
