Absolutely loved this book - JoJo Moyes at her best - again! Don't know how she manages it with every single book she writes. Great characters, beautifully written and a fantastic storyline.

I really loved this until about three quarters of the way through and then it began to be a little like a Whitehall farce: people hiding under beds, fire alarms being set off, people getting shut in walk-in fridges etc. I’m pleased to say the narrative recovered and the ending is upbeat. The characters are believable, warm, funny and vulnerable, each in their own way. A very clever plot as well. . This would make an excellent film and I hope someone will take that step.

Hard back book arrive in good condition. I only recently started reading this authors books, she is a great story teller and you feel like you really know the characters. I could not put this book down and absolutely love the twist the end. Real ‘girl power’ and both funny and sad. I belong to a cycling club and found some of the ladies love to read. A member set up a book club and I recommended this book. All but one said they really enjoyed the story (none had read the author before). I have three more of her books to read in between book club books. Would recommend this book and the series starting with ‘Me before You’.

I found this book hard to put down - I definitely wanted to read it rather than cook the dinner! It is very predictable, though, so only a 3 star novel I think. I have read ‘The Giver of Stars’ and ‘Me Before You’ and both were better in my view. Having said that, this is really enjoyable, the characters are well drawn and the writing style is often funny. I would recommend this book for reading on holiday or when you feel like you need something light to read.

Jojo moyes is an author who never disappoints the readers of her novels. She writes with true emotion for each individual character. You are always guaranteed lots of twists and turns both emotionally and situationally of the characters, which means you can not put the book down or stop reading it. Her writing is exceptional and relly relates to situations or characters that the reader has in their life or knows of someone who reminds them of a character. If you like being proved wrong about situations you think might happen to characters, then jojo moyes is definitely for you

I’m almost done with the book. It’s a nice vacation read. Nisha’s character is rather endearing and her story line is both sad and hilarious. Sam’s storyline is however quite convoluted as there are far too many adjacent characters thrown in too quickly which makes it hard to follow.

When Sam Kemp and Nisha Cantor mix up their gym bags it sets off 448 pages of hilarious fun, serious drama, and unlikely friendships. It is a story that will remain with you long after the last page is read. The Marc Jacobs bag Sam accidentally grabs has a beautiful designer jacket and crocodile-skin-red-take-me-now Louboutin sling-backs in it. The shoes may be a bit tight and the heels too high but she can’t show up at meetings scheduled that day wearing gym flip flops and she has no other shoes. Plus those heels make her feel like a new woman. Poised, confident, a serious business woman who can close deals for the company and bring in new business for her abusive misogynistic boss. But beautiful, uber rich, germaphobic Nisha ends up with a Marc Jacobs knock-off bag containing well worn sensible dark shoes and a wet swim suit in a plastic bag. Sam’s two-man negotiation team pick her up in the company van after her work-out and rush to their first meeting of the day. Her boss changed the time of the meeting but failed to tell Sam. There is no time to go back for her bag. Nisha is sounding the alarm that someone stole her bag and demands to see camera footage of the dressing room to see who the thief is. The attendant reminds her that there are no cameras in the locker rooms. So, Nisha, wearing gym flip flops and a white gym robe, rushes to the hotel where she and hubby are staying only to find that she is barred from entering the penthouse and hubby won’t take her calls. Both women find themselves in situations way out of their comfort zones. Teammate Joel looks at Sam in ways that her husband hasn’t in years. Nisha finds herself adrift from her husband and their son who is in boarding school a continent away. Those issues are just the tip of the iceberg that threatens their homes, jobs, and lifestyles. As each woman develops new friendships and supporters throughout the story, the reader is left laughing and wondering what will happen next as there is no way these characters are going to get out of the messy situations in which they find themselves. I loved this heart gripping, fun slice of life as these women redefine friendship, power, and who they are. This is my second Jo Jo Moyes book but not my last. A five star read for me!
