I took this book on holiday as one of several reads that I hoped to enjoy. As a silver haired lady myself I do find that there aren’t enough books out there that link into emotions and feelings at this stage in life. We are the forgotten chapter (literally) in life. This book just didn’t have any depth to it in order to explore those feelings and it felt rather old school Mills and Boon.

I related to Tess, the main character in the book and the adventures of online dating and the dating scene for the over 50 crowd. The deceptions of the “dates” in the book and the situations were very funny and realistic. This type of book can be used to bash men but several men were presented as kind and thoughtful too. Very funny book…hit close to home.
