The kindle is a nice convenient size and has access to the huge Amazon library of kids titles. My son loves it and is working his way through the Harry Potter titles now. Whilst we always encourage a 'real' book and visit the library weekly, the kindle is a great travel companion and definitley has its place in my son's reading education as an alternative to his library and school books.

Purchased as a gift should have 13 months free kids subscription tried to activate and it says error only available in some countries were in UK so should work but also only says 6 months subscription looked for help no help other than setting up which errors incredibly disappointment
